Where is the information and schedule for the First Lap series? What is the plan with the track built for the RCpro series?

First year living here and would love to find out more.

About First Lap

First Lap is a charity fundraising R/C racing seriees hosted and run by Remote Control Hobbies. The series is family oriented and all are
encouraged to get involved and race! First Lap is all about having fun and at the same time raising awaren ness and funding for a great
organization. First Lap 2009 was a great succes ss and we are excited to make it bigger for 2010 and years s to come!


Event: Five Race Series using Short Course style R/C Off Road Racing Truc cks.
Span: Series run over a 5 n

5 week period which includes a final series championship race
Time: Saturdays

Race Series & Fund Raising Detaills

Series Pass: Racers wishing to enter the race series will be required to purchase a series pass


-Series Pass price is $ $50.00
-The series pass includes a new, unpainted vehicle body of the racers choice

Driver Sponsorships -Just like real racinng, each racer needs at least one sponsor for their trruck


Truck sponsorships willl begin at $20 for panel sections of the truck (doors, front and rear
fenders, roof and hood)) and go up to $100 for the entire ‘real estate’ of the truck body.

* There is no cap to the number of sponsors a driver can get for their truck.
For each sponsor, RC-HHobbies Boise will print vinyl decals of your businesses logo or
personal sponsor’s names which will be applied to drivers series truck body.

Throughout the racing s series, the sponsors will be recognized via listings on the RC-Hobbies
website, on the shop events board, on promotional materials and announced over the PA
system while the races are being run.

Platinum level sponsorships from either business or individual contributors will also be listed
on all core promotional materials including event posters and race series t--shirts

Race Raffles

Additional fund raising activities include sales of raffle tickets for donated items that will be raffled off during the series
championship. Sponsorships can be also be in the form of merchandise or services that will be included for the raffle

Sponsors will receive a Sponsorship conformation and Receipt for their record keepping purposes
