Ok so what is the weight ?

Were you flying those dual packs in parallel ?

WHat kind of flight time ?

What prop, motor, amp draw .... ?

Are you going to leave the wings with the flutter or add some spars ?

I think we need to see how much weight it can lift and also work out what the wing loading is.

 It looks fantastic in the air.

Well, I don't particularly want to re-type all of that, so here:

Mark, That is outstanding. You have some serious altitude going on there.

Last Month on the last leg of the trip I flew a United twin Prop from San Francisco to Modesto California (20 minute flight) at an altitude of 7,000 feet. These pictures look very close to what height I was flying at so I am guessing Mark must have been between 5000 to 6000 feet. But then again that is around a mile high and I would think it would be very dificult to see the model at that height. Thats also outside the range of a receiver I believe. Maybe its just an optical illusion. :?

We really need to figure our this altitude thing. Take the wing span measure it at X distance so we have reference in the air

7000 asl = about 4000agl here. We suspect that the plane was about 2000ft agl for the pics or 5000ft asl if you prefer.

You are more than welcome to break out a ruler and measure the dot this weekend. I am usually too busy trying not to lose it to try it myself. If someone has an altimider or GPS unit they would let me borrow, we could do it that way too.

It is the AGL I was referring to. Still very high and I do not doubt it is a DOT and very hard to follow. Just curious on height because inquiry minds want to know!!!

How about a 100yds and see who large the wing span is at that distance with a ruler .
