Too much lift?!?!

Postby Forcefed » Sat Jan 21, 2006 8:53 pm

New to flying the slow stick but i am think i am getting it down alright. .. But my slowstick even at 1/2-3/4 throttle will still gain altitude(w/ elevator straight)... i assume this is from being a little tail heavy? So do i need to shift some weight farther up the fuse or can i just try to move the wing forward... or both?

The wing probably needs to go back not forward. The SS will climb wit very little throttle.

If the SS performs well flying and the only problem is it climbs too well then before making any CG changes try a ROG with a couple of clicks down trim and see how that goes. Then we can go from there to see what needs to be done.
